Chair of the Board of Overseers Jolanta Turczynowicz-Kieryłło heads an anti-hate speech campaign

Jolanta Turczynowicz-Kieryłło, the Chair of the Board of Overseers, in her capacity as President of the De Virion Academy of Law and President of the Collegium Humanum-Central School of Management in Warsaw, is heading a public campaign against hate speech “Szanuję, nie hejtuję” (Respect, do not hate).

“Freedom of speech is not and cannot be a trap in which we let ourselves be enveloped by people who do not respect and do not understand it. People who destroy and sometimes even kill with words, all the while citing freedom of expression. It makes one want to shout: Non possumus! Such behavior cannot be protected by law. The one who violates the law cannot claim legal protection.” – she told the audience while inaugurating the campaign.

De Virion Academy of Law in partnership with Collegium Humanum – Main School of Management, launched a social campaign against hate speech and hate on the Internet. In May this year a scientific conference is planned at the headquarters of Collegium Humanum on the legal and psychological aspects of hate on the Internet.
